Well if everything goes my way I am hoping to get my Eibachs and Tokicos installed this weekend. Am I going to have to do anything to the strut tower in the front when the struts are out, so that I can get proper aligment? (I got the police front mounts as well as rear) Or do I just have to get the alignment shop to drill out the plug welds? I read that you have to enlarge the holes and I have read that you have to drill out the welds. Do I have to do both or just one? I am a bit confused here.

Some cars will need the rivets drilled out and others wouldn't. Some will even need the towers notched like mine. Not much you can do but to leave it up to the alignment shop to determine.

BTW have a good time, its all worth it. thumb

well to make sure you can get your car into aligment you could have gotten the strut mounts from specialty products ( http://www.specprod.com/ ) prosuspension sells the mounts (http://www.prosuspension.com/) or you cna have any local auto parts store order them for you. the mounts will let you adjust up to 1.5 degeres positive adjustment.

the cool thing about the mounts is that the camber adjustment is made by changing the offset washer. This let you be able to adjsut the camber for the track/ dragstrip and know that you can adjust it back to the stock camber.

The rear end camber is were I've seen most people get into trouble. What we've done around here to correct it, is to purchase a couple of part# 264-2954 accentric bushing kits from our local NAPA to install in the rear control arms.

3.8Lwagon option is also a good choice if you can wait. SPC performance www.spcperformance.com 800-525-6505 one kit #87330 or #87300 for rear chamber
2-each of 89625 and 89645 for the front camber

I will have to consider one of these kits, because I am sure I will need major adjustment to fix allignment after my ss springs are installed this summer.

I had the intrax/kyb combo in my 94, the fronts were worse than the rears, and i did not drilling, the camber wasn't all that bad, it was the toe that was screwed up but i fixed it, also, replace your sway bar links and strut rod bushings while you're in there well worth it

After I installed my Konis and Eibachs, I installed the GTP controls arms on the rear, along with an H-brace. My local shop had no problems getting the rear alignment right. They look awesome too!

This may be a stupid question but I just want to be sure. I installed the springs on the struts today and there alto of spring tension on the strut. I can still move the spring around a bit. Is this because of the shorter Eibach springs? Or something abnormal? This is the first time I ever did any strut or spring work.

I would like to put on GTP arms, I think that it would be the best option to do, but quality is $$, and that is something I wish I had more of; $$ that is!!

Well I am having alot of fun so far. Got the two rear assemblys and my front poly sway bar bushings in so far. I had a very hard time with the rear pinch bolts took up most of my time just to get them out after they broke off halfway out.

i rebuild the front suspension on my wagon about 2 monts ago. i loved going it. rember Krol is your friend. if you don't have that try liquid wrench.

oh for the front you need a 32mm deep well socket for the drive shaft. a 18mm deepwell, and there was one other weird tool that you needed.
