hey this is not a For sale add so please don't make offers if anyone is interested... If I decide to not throw it away I will do the approptiate actions and post it in the classifieds...

I am just wondering, are there any interests for a stock subwoofer enclosure from a SHO, or is it pretty much garbage? I am about 99% sure the actual speaker is blown so its pretty much just the box that might be worth anything....

should I keep this in my Taurus parts stockpile and later do something with it or just chuck it?

i don't know about yours because the speaker is junk, but I once sold one with a good speaker for $75 on ebay

I bought a stock sub enclousure and modified it to fit a JL 8w6. I am very happy with the sound.

If you list it for sale, someone will probably buy it.

alright I won't throw it away then....

it is something actually really nice IMHO.... with a newer better speaker like sho92 did and for the size/stock install type deal it could be great for someone not looking to knock their rear view mirror off.

except I have 2 brand new Cerwin Vega 15" Vmax subs begging to be broken in.

good decision. I'm pretty satisfied with my stock box with a Polk 8inch. Gives me just enough bass to be satisfied, and I don't loos any trunk space.

since the cabs on these cars seem pretty sound deadened i would recommend going and get a 10in speaker and fitting it to the box and wiring that up, this is what i did and i got the sound i wanted.
even tho i had a much more powerful 12 in the trunk in its own box before i had upgraded my factory sub box i couldnt hear it compaired to my last car, soon as i put the 10" in i found what i was missing.
my guess is the placement of the sub box and since it has holes for it already.
