Long story short, I swapped a stock Y-pipe with a Magnaflow one, and have a SHOsource Catless that I received in an SHO sale. Thought I would take and share pics for all the world to see and be amazed! Lol. The stock Y-pipe is about double the weight of the other two.

That's mostly due to the cats actually made to work correctly over a long time period.

Great pic. Nice to be able to get a visual to compare similar products.

Some of the weight is all the extra heat/ safety shields. There is quite a lot of it!

Here is why the Stock Y-pipe is so poorly designed!

The front pipe flows into the side of the Cat at about a 70 degree angle!

And this was the poorest design EVER! The rear pipe flows straight down into the top of the Cat!

The new SHO Source pipe looks identical to the old SHO Shop pipe I have on my car. Just another type of pipe if anyone is wondering.
