Hello all.
Don't know if this has been covered elsewhere, but I can't find anything on the subject.
I'm not happy with the factory Sony stereo in my '10. It just doesn't have the audio adjustability, either too tinny, or too much low range, no real mid range sound. I want to do a head unit swap to an aftermarket, double din touch screen stereo, but I can't find an install kit. All I'm finding is the Metra kit, but it says "key start only", where I have the push button start.
Does anyone know of another kit? Is there a way to make the Metra kit work anyway? Or is there another option that won't completely break the bank?
I'm fine with doing the work to swap out components, but I don't have thousands to spend on buying a bunch of electronics and paying the stealership to do a bunch of programming (assuming it's expensive as ****, just like anything else associated with stealerships).
I'm just wanting to know what my options are, and approximate costs involved with each, so I can decide what route I want to take.
Thanks for any advise you can give me.
~Mark
