ive got a 92 with a Gen I steering wheel, looking to replace and wondering if the newer style will bolt up ? Really curious will the electronics plug n play ?

The steering wheel will fit, however your airbag connections are different. It is a popular swap.

Your electrical connectors for the airbag are different. I chose to leave my airbag unplugged, since it's primarily a track car.
