Long story short, my friend managed to strip the threads off the drivers side steering rack end where the inner tie rod attaches too. I need to get this fixed ASAP. Does anyone have any suggestions about fixing this? I was looking in the chiltons manual, and it looks like the "rack assembly" (the piece the tie rods connect too) can come out of the main steering rack assembly. Im hoping it just screws in or something, I really dont want to replace the whole rack myself. Any help would be much appreciated!! frown
