That might have been the issue with mine. Later builds worked. I’m trying to remember from over 5 years ago. One of them wouldnt work. That’s for sure.

Interesting.....going to go and put this to the test.
Having a chance to look at this description form the manual and it doesn't seem correct. When I enable Sport Mode TC is disabled and the TC light stays solid.

I don't get a message that says Sport Mode. TC light comes one and that is it.

With a double tap a receive a pop up message on the left screen confirming Sport Mode and the TC light comes on. If I tap once I get the TC off message with the light coming on, are you getting those on a single tap?

I double tab the TC button twice while holding the brake, and nothing. Just the TC light comes on. Do you have to have the shifter in sport mode, then do it?

I confirmed that when I had my SHO and others with 2013 early build could not get Sport Mode to activate. The other two worked. We discussed this back in 2014

Shifter does not need to be in sport.

Still no dice.
Its never gonna work as is. The common denominator was the instrument cluster firmware in the ones that worked was a newer revision than the ones that didn't. One would have to attempt swapping the cluster to a newer one or seeing if a forced firmware upgrade to the cluster would work.

I really dont think it matters for me anyways. I like to have the advancetrac off completely. I don't know if I would want a nannied sport mode because I have never had it. I am just glad my PP is "somewhat" correct lol.

I have a 14 SHO PP and the 3 steps I do are:
  1. Tap once = Traction Control Off
  2. Tap twice = Sport Mode
  3. Hold brake, hold button for 5 seconds = Advanced Track Mode Off (Stability Control off and Traction Control off)
I know what 1 & 3 do, but I don't know what Sport Mode does.

I believe It causes the stability control to intervene less. It's sort of an in between setting.

Everything is functioning like it should I appreciate everybody.
Did you install yourself? If so how? Or did dealership install? How much did it all cost?

He had a factory PP SHO that didn't have the correct physical button. It was a mistake. If you have a non PP you will not be able to do this.

I have a 2013 sho PP with the auto park Assist and blank button on console. I ordered the part with the TC and auto park button assembly. I was wondering is it just plug and play?
