Are the springs the same for the front and rear on a 95 atx?
I was gonna do my rear springs last summer, but I ran into problems. I decided to let performance plus do just the rear suspension for me cause I though the fronts were fine... turns out one of my front springs is messed up, so I gotta replace it... (well... them cause ya gotta do em both)

Anyway, my point to this story is can I use rear springs in the front? (they are new, not the old ones fromt he rear)

The rear end feels 100% better now, and looks alot better too....

As I recall the stock spring rates are around:
220lb/in Front
150lb/in Rear

They are not the same shape so I'm not sure if you could swap them. The fronts are short with larger overall spring diam. The rears are taller with a smaller spring diam.

Even if you could force them onto the strut somehow, the spring rate would be too soft .... unless you move the engine and tranny to the back. wink

half-way there, I think.
Well - that explains why the back of my car is dragging on the ground  I knew I had to have SLO springs back there - sure enough they are the ZED. Do you happen to know what rate the TRS are??
Thanks,
Terry

Thanks - Not only did I get the SLO sway bars but I got the SLO springs too. That also explains the nose dive under heavy braking.
