I was wondering if anybody has a pattern for drilling the holes in my trunk for my spoiler.
I have a 92 that I'm putting a gen 2 spoiler on. I did this once before on one of my other 92's, but don't know where I got the pattern, and what I did with it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I just did this a couple a months ago. I used several layers of masking tape approximately where the inserts are located. Line up the spoiler and then press it down to see where to drill. I had to oversize the holes a bit for fine adjustment. Used some rubber washers and silicone to seal it.

If you have an early 92, then the holes on the inside of the trunk lid where the nuts fasten won't be there. I noticed that on one of my cars, but the trunk I put the spoiler on had the holes/slots already there.

what i did was use a paint marker and put a dab on the screws, when i got to about where it needed to be, I pressed it against the trunk. Then if you need to adjust it to the left or right or forward or back just slide it and wherever the paint ends is where you drill..worked out great with my gen 2 spoiler on my 91.
