Spindles interchangeable? Continental -> SHO?

I called the junkyard today asking for front spindles/knuckles from a 94/95 Taurus/Sable w/ ABS. He said he has a set from a 93' Lincoln Continental and said his computer cross referenced it.

So, will they fit? Id hate to buy the wrong ones and this junkyard is an hour away. (I must use this one cause I have a $60 credit at this yard)

Yes they should. In 93 Lincoln started using the 94+ brakes on the continental.

Yes they should, IIRC. Just to make sure, I'd ask him if the caliper bracket to knuckle holes are small and threaded or large and unthreaded.

I bought the calipers/brackets from this car with plans to do the 96 brake upgrade, but now Im going with a 13" setup so I can check the brackets myself.

Anyone else know?

For future reference, spindles from a continental (or 93 at least) are the same.

'94 Sable spindles will work too.
