Hi all! I am getting ready to change my valve cover gaskets, and was wondering if I need a special tool to remove the fuel lines.

I did mine, I didnt need a special tool, I just unbolted them from the V/C and had the gf hold them out of the way when I put on the cover again. Im probly in the small percentage that found it easier to put the rear one back on than the front one. Of course I had her help when I did that one.

There is a special tool to disconnect them but as Troy said, you don't need to disconnect them. Just unbolt them from the rear VC.

x2 for the job your doing, you don't need to disconnect them, but for future ref. you will need a "spring lock coupling" removal tool
