Speaker Size

Hey Everyone i was just wondering what size speakers i can fit in the rear deck of my 94. i know the fronts are 6.5: but i have heard 5x7 6x8 and 6x9 for the rear and i was wondering which one is correct, thanks!

6x9 is what i have....it may require modification for some 6x9's to fit.

You can get 5x7 in there without any problems but if you want to fit 6x9 you will have to do a little cutting.

If you do not plan to run a subwoofer (if you don't already have one) and want a tiny bit more bass then I would suggest going to 6x9s in the back.

However if you want to stay stock and not cut the rear up then you will be fine with any 5x7 or 6x8 speaker

thanks for the tips guys. i already have the Bass Covered (Alpine Type-R 10" with an MRP-500 amp for power), so i think i might just get 5x7s and save the effort

I have two ten inch subs and polk momo 5x7 in the rear and polk momo 6.5 up front. The 2 tens put out enough bass for me.

I have a 92,and the originaL size for the front is 6.5 and the rear is 5x7 right?
