Spare tire cover

My old spare tire cover was totally trashed so I made a new one today. It came out kind of cool. A little crooked but a definite improvement over the wrecked one. Let me know what you think.

It looks damn good! Kinda goes with the underhood pad. Good job!

How did you make it? I assume you got some gray carpet stock for the covering but how did you do the rest ofit?

I used a dark charcoal for the initial covering. Then made a set of stencils for the letters and cut them out of both the light gray carpet and from the charcoal cover and then inlaid them. I used spray glue to hold it all together.

You should market the stencil or do it on the side for the "to busy for that" SHO folks. Just a thought.
