I am free every weekend except the first two in October. Going any farther than Sierra Vista or Tucson is out for me due to other commitments.

If you want to cook steaks at my place, you are welcome to do so because I don't cook very well. I'm not against going to Sierra Vista either and seem to spend a lot of time there, although it is never car related. Willcox is also the closest town to the Chiricahua National Monument and the road up to one of the look out points is great. The only problem is that you have to pay the Park Service to drive up there,

SHO Gathering In Willcox

If you want to just drive up from Sierra Vista for the day, just let me know. I might even get inspired to do some more cleaning on my car. The drive to the lookout in the Chiricahuas is always fun but you can't speed much on the road up, once you get into the National Park area.

You know what you guys should do... You should make a trip up northeast, in the Colorado region. Denver to be exact :)

Denver Trip

I would love to take a trip like that if I could ever find the time. Maybe in a few years when things settle down. I drove the SHO all the way to Salt Lake City once and the car was fun to drive and the gas mileage was great. I keep on looking at the new Pontiac GTO's and though about parting with the SHO if I bought one, but better sense alway seems to keep me in check. I did get to drive to Colorado Springs last year and then all around that area. The sites around there are beautiful and we had a great time even though it was in a company car.

Drove out to Willcox today, went to the chiracaua monument, what a BEAUTIFUL drive! Met 03copperbusa and his wife, Great people enjoyed our visit and lookin at the cars: the Sho with an incredibly low amount of miles
(45k) and a nice looking Pantera and yes his garage is as clean as some of the pictures he has submitted.

Willcox Visit

Glad you came by and we also enjoyed the visit from another SHO owner, who is also the first to visit our home from the group. I will have to do some cleaning in the garage if anyone else drops by because it was not as clean as it should have been. I have had too many repair jobs going on in there this year to keep it the way it should be. Now if I could keep the cars as clean as the garage, then I might have something to brag about.
