Hey Guys,

All the lights on the front of my '95 are trashed, yellowed, and in desperate need of replacement. I've cleaned them up and polished them several times over the 10 years I've owned the car, but they are completely toast now.

I've already ordered up new headlights and cornering lights, but I'm having a difficult time locating replacement foglights. I have aftermarket ones on there right now, but the housings are cracked.

Is there a source for OEM replacements or at least a replacement that matches the originals in size and bolts into the original location without a lot of headaches?

Thanks in advance!

Check out shosource.com, I bought a brand new OEM pair from them for cheap. Not sure if they have any left as they had a limited supply only. Check out the site or call.
Hope this helps

I have PIAA 1500 XT ( I think) On my car. Pretty much the same size.
But they don't offer that model anymore last time I checked.

On one of my older toys, i modified either mitsubishi or NIssan fogs to fit into SHO bumper and it was very good. Right now I have Blazers in my current toy and I had to take everything out from old lights to put new fogs in. I also had to mount them as much in as i could to mount them closer to the edge of the hole. old design is not that good. I would suggest to use imagination.

Shosource.com has OEM SHO foglights and is a great supporter of the SHOforum and SHO community :thumb:

Thanks for the replies so far guys! During my initial search early this morning, I came across the thread mentioning SHOSource had a supply of NOS foglights for sale, but I quickly found out they were all gone when I went to their website. :frown:

Ideally I'd like to find a set of driving or fog lights that look as close to stock as possible. The Optilux set that was mentioned earlier in the thread looks nice, but I'm not that interested in a setup with both fog and driving lights in the same housing; I'd prefer to keep to one or the other. The other suggestions for the Piaa and Blazer lights look like they would work well, but neither of them are still produced.

Currently I have a set of Optronics QH-17CT driving lights on the car that bolt right up to the stock mounts and look completely original and even include a glass lens. Unfortunately they were cheap (only $20 new) and are about 10 years old, so they are showing their age. Of course, these lights are long since discontinued, so I can't go buy a new set.

I can get by with my current set for the time being, as they still do work, but if anyone has any other suggestions, please let me know!

Thanks again!

Those look pretty good! Any experience with those particular fog lights and/or the website (a little leary about ordering from a place I never heard of).

I'm guessing these aren't NOS, as I don't remember the originals being made by Hella, which would hopefully mean these are better quality. I'm guessing that price is for one light and not a set. I guess if they are better quality, it might be worth it.

Thanks!

you can just do with what i had on my 1990 nissan sentra.
i bought some of these aftermarket off road lights
bought replacement aircraft landing bulbs.

lol they are basically spot lights on your car.
work amazing

but i dont think they would look so hot on a SHO. :( lol
yes they are bright, but look at the 2nd pic. they are massive and theres basically no place to mount them without them looking dumb
picked up the housings at NAPA for about $30, and the replacement bulbs for about $30. 10,000 candle watt bulbs. And the box actually says AIRCRAFT SPOTLIGHT lol

Thanks to QUICKSILVER93, I now have a set of N.O.S fogs sitting at home and waiting to be installed! :woo-hoo:

I had to replace my original fogs because the mount snapped off the plastic housing on one of them and it wasn't repairable. My aftermarket fogs have held up pretty well, but one of them now has a cracked lens from a rock hit.

This weekend I'm hoping to get all my new lights installed and get a couple pictures.
