This is what Jason and I have been working on for the past... oh... forever.

We have been completely redoing his house from top to bottom all at the same time. I decided to take a few quick pics from my cell to give you an idea of the insane parties we will be hosting here in the near future. We predict the entire house to be finished mid/late summer 09.

Before I post the pics, i would first like to say that the house was originally a 2900 square foot home. It is now just under 6800. :hail: We have extended the basement, added on a 15x15 room (future kitchen), vaulted many of the ceilings, and pretty much completely changed the blue prints of the home.

I will start with the basement as this is where most of the fun is.

4 1
This is a side view of about 1/3 of the basement. The basement is now 78 feet long by 40ish feet wide. Why so big you ask? Well just wait and see down below. In between these 2 pillars will be a brand new pool table with an onyx black felt top. There were 2 steel I beam supports and to hide them, i built these pillars. Also, in the back ground, we put in a recessed area that will soon house an HDTV. There is enough room there to hold up to 75 inches of pure sex as well as storage for any and every kind of media player/game system. And next to the media center area, there will be 4 arcade games (Pac-Mac, Frogger, Pin Ball, and some shoot-em-up game) plus a bar type dart board.

2 4
Just to the right of the media center is this; a custom kitchen that is nothing short of ****** (at least for us kitchen bitches). Here we have built custom counter tops made out of dyed black concrete (thanks to yours truly lol), stained wood cabinets with stainless inserts, flat top griddle, commercial grade deep fryer (42 inch hood fan soon to be installed), kegerator with a 4 spout tap, and yea, a soda fountain.

20
Here's a better picture of the custom made bar with the steel inserts.

21
Pic of the black stone tile that makes up the floor of the bar/kitchen/bachelors dream pad.

19
An up close and personal look at my hand built black concrete counter tops. Yea, they are getting kinda dusty sitting down here.

26
Some more concrete counter tops that I made today. These will be installed on those pillar covers that are showed in the first pic above.

13
A more detailed picture of the media center that will be behind the pool table.

Now, Im sure you are still wanting to know why the **** this basement is sooooo ******* big. Well... Its because Jason and I decided to put one of these bitches down there...

Yea, thats right. We have a bowling alley in the basement!

22
And at the end of that bowling lane, is a commercial grade automatic pin setter with ball return straight from a bowling alley up in Minnesota.

6
Here's the current view of half of the basement as you would see if walking down the stairs. At the base of the stairs, you can make a sharp right turn and walk down the length of the bowling alley and end up in here...

10
We built a 20x14 home theater room complete with a 60 inch LCD TV, 7.2 surround sound system, recessed lighting, hand built entertainment center display case/cabinets... Pictures do not do it justice. I just finished up the faux finish wall paint this afternoon.

12
Its a burgundy red base with a matte black faux glaze on top. Looks pretty damn good I think.

9
Here's the jumble of wires that control the lighting system only. :nut: Yea, there's tons of lights in this bitch. Yea, it took me a solid day to run and connect them. It sucked but in the end, it turned out great. I still have to run the wires for the sound system and media stuff. All of that stuff has to be done within 2 weeks so I can lay the baseboard down and have the carpet installed in the entire basement. Time crunch is on!

5
Here's a little pic of the basement bathroom. Its hard to tell but I wanted to show you all the wall paper that I designed. I took old news papers, glued them onto the wall and then put a gold and black faux finish on top of them. The cabinets/sink are all hand made (catching a pattern here? All the carpentry work was done by us alone.) and stained a deep cherry color.

Moving on to the upstairs... Not a whole lot has been done so far. Once the basement is finished, we will move up here and knock the main floor out quick.

17
This is the main entrance to the house. Notice our recessed lighting ceiling. Not half bad if you ask me. It was the first one I had ever done.

25
The new front door arrived yesterday. Its gonna look kick ass once installed.

15
Next to the main living room is a sun room. We just installed these back deck windows/doors a few weeks ago. Out those doors will soon be a 15x20 deck with a massive hot tub and room for a grill, table, and tons of drunks partying it up all night long. The home owners association is going to love us in about 6 months.

16
And what good is a sun room without sunlight? Well, we vaulted the ceiling and cut out the area for a 12x12 sky light. Can't wait for the day that we have in install that by hand. There wont be enough beer in America to make that job fun.

14
Just to the left (and in front of) the main entrance is the living room. Notice the massive vaulted ceiling in there. That was also done by us. The center roof line is now about 15 feet high. Talk about opening up some living space. And yes, I know there is giant smoke stains on top of the fireplace. We decided to take care of the ever growing pile of trash. Suffice it to say that there was flames shooting out the top of the chimney that evening.

18
Here's a little pic of the soon to be master bedroom. We also added recessed lighting in here too. It is the company's office for now. It is also the ONLY room in the house that is more than 90% completed.

24
The master bathroom is also a thing of beauty. If you are like me and you love long showers, then this will be the bathroom for you. I couldnt get a good pic in here but here it is anyway. The shower area is a modest 10x10 feet complete with 8 wall mounted jets and 1 12 inch "rain forest" shower head in the center of the ceiling. Also installed is a stout steam machine to create the feel of a sauna.

23 1
The hall bath will also feature a small jacuzzi as well as a stand up shower next to it.

This is literally half of the house. I could have snapped pics for ever in this place but I ran out of time and energy... Plus the cement in the u cart was ready to be poured. :nut: I will take some updated pics as more work gets completed. It has been a massive learning experience seeing that when I decided to help my co-worker/boss out, I had zero experience with carpentry, electrical, HVAC... Nothing. I have learned sooooo much doing this and so far its turning out to be awesome. I cant wait till its done. Jason has personally invited all of the NebSHO guys to come down for the grand opening/house warming party this summer/early fall when it is all finished.

Oh... Joe... 9 more days! Woot!

Thats fantastic guys! I think the "bar" area is bigger than my house.
