Comprehension fail. He said he'd rather be able to break the window immediately instead of waiting to open the door. He's not saying you have to wait for the pressures to equalize in order to break the glass.

Why not just flick the down switch on drivers window? It's auto one flick and the windows down way faster than you can think to break it.. You have about 5-10 seconds to open the door from impact and you have at least 15-20 seconds to hit the auto switch down.. You don't need to be a ravage beast head butting the window to break it when all you gotta do is tap a switch..

All I'm trying to say is it would not really be a safety issue... At all.
