The v8 section here is always a snoozefest, and most of my pictures I've only put on facebook lately. So here's some pictures of my '97 that has been owned by other forum members and now myself. I love this car so much, I drive other vehicles and then drive this and just love it so much :thumb:

It's a pretty nice car. Love the way it looks on Roush springs. Rode like shit with the Sarc fuse pulled though.

Handled good with summer tires and the 24/26 sway bars I put on it.

Is it a DD or has it seen track time? Don't see/hear much about G3s except "what's broken now".

It's been a DD lately though when I bought it I didn't intend it to be, I drive long distances for work everyday and it just feels perfect to me. It hasn't seen track time that I'm aware of. Mods are only Roush springs, wheels, no 3rd cat, it's got an SCT but currently running factory tune. It had an exhaust cut out which rusted thru (cheap thin metal), I drove it for a day basically dumping exhaust after the 1st cats and it was LOUD but so awesome.

The A/C could stand to blow colder, my '99 SE blows colder, but oh well summer is ending. I don't plan on driving it much in the winter especially if the roads get salted, autumn will bring a VERY thorough and ruthless garage cleaning

Man I could scroll through pics like that for days. Love the contrast of the chrome wheel rim strips with the black of the car. I hope my 98's running long enough for me to either afford some upgrades and/or get off my butt and do the ones I can now. Then I can post my own! My chartreuse powder-coated intakes and valve covers look nice (looks great on silver frost), but decent wheels and maybe some inconspicuous decals would set it off.

I'm gonna take some better pictures soon, especially once autumn colors come about.

Funny how right after I make this post I go out this morning and it won't start. I tried a few times but I had slept in so I didn't have time to mess. Drove another car. Came home, wouldn't start. Unplugged and replugged all the fuses, wiggled a few wires, fired right up. Weird.

Car looks awesome Jamie. Glad to see it has been through several great owners since it left me. Sucks the "blower set up" and built tranny have been long separated from this car though. Sure do miss that sound. To answer the one question, the car has never been on the track, don't think it has since it left me either.

The Roush springs do look awesome and it has a killer stance. At one time I had adjustable camber plates to put on the car but they seem to be in GA at the moment....

Many memories in that car. That's what started me in the whole SHO game back in the early 2000s. Fantastic ride and a great V-8 sound Too bad the power weren't there to back up that sound.

Great pix and great car. I love the Black wheels. This section has been a bit a slow, not sure how many G3 are out there. I'd post some pictures but my daughter is driving it around Columbus. She loves it. It needs some work on the head lights and it still has the stock wheels. I hope it makes it way back to Toledo before winter. My mustang is terrible in the snow. Big powertrain show in Toledo on Sunday if anyone is interested.
