solved a drivability issue

Took a while to sort out this one.

Car would bog at full throttle. Not at 3/4 throttle, or any other condition. At 3/4 throttle it would run happily to redline, but not at WOT. It was like hitting a wall.

Tried a couple TPS's I had lying around no real difference. Changed the MAF, all is good.

Did you try cleaning the old MAF first?

Did try some carb cleaner with only limited effect. Didn't disassemble the MAF but guess that's what it would take.

you want an electrical contact cleaner. I believe there is also a MAF specific cleaner out now.
