About an hour ago we were leaving for dinner and I decided to take the SHO. Haven't driven it in a few days. As we were leaving, my mother in law put her keys on the left rear floor and said "Hey, this floor is soaked!" So I got out and looked and it is wet on the side by the **** in the floor. Other part of that side is dry and the carpet is wet up to the drivers side rear seat mount. Around the door is dry and the front is also dry. I don't know how long it has been wet, because I never look back there. I searched the forum and didn't find anything that helped. ALSO, we did have some bad rains sunday night and the car had the cover on it. Where can this leak be coming from without soaking the whole floorpan?

Third vote for Sun roof drains. I had a 1991 Buick Park Avenue and when ever it rained my wife got soaked.... Ahh I kinda miss that Park Avenue. :)

No luck there. Just tested them and all the drains are working correctly. I opended the sunroof and poured water in the gutters and it was flowing right through the drains and out onto the ground.

Trunks dry. What I have done is I took off the trim so i can pull back the carpet so I can see the floorpans. Working from the bottom up, I stayed in the car and had my friend spray around all the door jambs. Also sprayed the roof in case the water was getting past the drip rail. Nothing at all. No water getting in anywhere. This is were it got wierd. When the underside of the car was sprayed, I thought i saw water moving around on inside the boxed-in area on the floor were the wiring harness is attached to the outside of it. Nothing made it to the part of the floor that was wet and I can't find a way to get in that boxed area. HELP!

Yes the door was fully shut. Thank you everyone for the suggestions. We did another test on it this morning and when we spray water under the car there is water getting into the boxed-in section on the floorboard. I can't find anyway to remove it or any way for water to get out of that area and soak my carpet. This may seem stupid, but is that normal for water to be in there??? I've never seen this before on any car.

I'm taking it to work on Tuesday and see if the service manager will let me put it on the lift so I can inspect under it better. Maybe a seam split under there. No matter what its getting fixed.
