haha. Let me tell you a little about the project we are finishing tonight. Roots style supercharger mounted with a jackshaft and coupler. I have used the Ford fuel Injection and Engine Control Management book to find the difference in the computer harness wiring in the SHO and the Supercoupe. After some elaborate checking and searching, I found the wires that need to be swithed in order to run the SHO on the supercoupe computer. After re wiring the wires on a seperate harness yesterday, that will be ready to go on tonight. We will also be putting on the intake piping tonight. While I did the wiring ,Paul made all of the custom bracketry. including an AC delete, a bracket to hold the center support bearing mounted off the alternator bracket, and one to mount the supercharger to the engine, and to mount the supercharger to the transmission with a t-bracket. So basically this is a SHO running off a supercoupe computer, with supercoupe 30 lb injectors and supercoupe mass air meter. here is a video of it (will be finished tonight). -ashley-

it sounds oh so sweet.

because it already has the perimeters to run the boost. instead of tweecer or SAFC. plus how cool is it using all supercoupe parts to run a supercharged sho. -ashley-

the displacement shouldn't matter....CR? Did you already try the computer.. and know something we don't. we are just trying it. I am pretty sure no one else has. if it doesn't work, put the other harness back on. :)

Ive never done such a thing. But to me it sounds like a way half-assed way to run the injectors.

What I do know is that there are a few important EEC calculations that utilize the engine displacement. VE is one of them (load) This in turn will prbably effect MAF readings/calc, as well as timing and fuel tables.

Actually I wouldn't say half-assed since I (ashley) know how to tune well other ways and could do that also. this is just a theory, and who knows what will happen. it will either work or not, either way, swapping the harness is a 30 minute job if it doesn't work.

:dig:

BIG difference between negative talk and technical help there pal.
SHOs are a dying breed. Everyone likes to see cool new mods, but not everyone enjoys watching people blow up perfectly good SHO motors, accident or not.

BTW, ashley, no matter how good you are at tuning, this is a great resource as far as the Ford EEC goes. Tons of great info. http://fordfuelinjection.com/?p=1

yeah it is more like a powersteering pump failure. haha. it won't be so loud with the cap on the supercharger going into the intake. that isn't on yet, so it is super loud. I like it. :) -ashley-
