I wish we had more snow here. Huge snowstorm a couple weeks ago, then it all melted away.
Can't wait to take advantage of the new snow tires!

Mark, you are a great guy, but a bit crazy. Snow makes you go slow.

I have been watching the radar and sat photos since last night. That storm that got PA is headed our way up here in Nova Scotia. If it hits us with snow, it will be our first of the year. Right now we are sitting on the dividing line of the front, with snow to the west and rain to the east, and the whole thing moving our way very slowly. Still not sure which we will get. And the temp is sitting right at zero. The suspense is killing me. We really need rain. The southern end of the province got almost no rain in Sept, Oct, and November. Normally we would have had over 300mm during that period. We got about 30. The farmers in the valley are going to be in really serious trouble next summer if we do not get rain in a major way before it gets cold and the surface freezes. Not to mention people's wells for over the winter.

All that aside, my snow tires are on and I am curious as to how they will do. I just want it to rain for a week or two first.

OH MY GOD!!! I almost killed someone at work Saturday, because everyone heard of the coming snow and wanted snow tires or new tires installed. We have 4 bays with 5 techs on that day. Each of us did at least 20 cars, and were there an hour and a half past closing. It was absolutely unbelievable, and wouldn't have been too bad, if the customers weren't starting to bitch about us being late on the cars. If you go to have your snow tires changed, please be patient, there's almost always someone ahead of you.
