I've been going pretty much every year since 2001. Anyone interested in going this year? Racing starts early afternoon in and around the *******/Atlanta/Lewsiton area; we go to Lewiston by early afternoon to catch the cars and drivers before they head out, then we go backroads bombing to watch them on course. Same for Saturday; we stay in ******* Friday night so we're close to the action.

Cost is free, save for your food and gas. And if you want to crash in ******* on Friday you chip in for the room, which shouldn't be more than $25 or less, depending on how many people go.

Anyone interested?

Uh, ok

You're going to drive 2000 miles round trip for this? That's Atlanta MICHIGAN, not Georgia. Besides, basic spelling is a prerequisite for GLSS activities.

So, anyone else?

For those who can come, I'll be covering the race for Winding Road :naughty:

For those who can't come, I'll be covering the race for Winding Road--I'll post links when the stories and pics are up :)

I was able to get work off, but it was because something else came up. I'll be looking forward to the videos, and maybe I'll try harder to make it next year

Wilwood brakes, and mud flaps. Quite the combination. I gotta find a way up there some day. Do they serve plenty of hot chocolate? Fudge gets waaay too hard in that weather.

Well, you can get food and beverages in Atlanta during the Saturday service stops. The only time I saw hot chocolate however is when we ventured out on our own to a stage. Came around a corner in the middle of the forest, and there was a bunch of old guys tailgating, complete with brats and yes, hot chocolate :)
