I am thinking about painting the slicers on my 89', and i was wondering what you guys use to pop off your center caps. i have tried lots of things and they all leave little scuffs on my wheels. I know if i paint them, using a flathead screwdriver to get the center caps off would do a number on the paint. im sure there is a tool that came with the 2nd gens to take them off. any help will be appreciated.

i just did the brakes on my car, and when i pop off the caps, i just use a flat screwdriver with a rag around it, it worked for me. i don't think it left any scratches that weren't already there. and hold on to those things like your life depended on it because they like to go flying when they pop off. i found this out the hard way.

slicer help

How about one of the nylon pry tools from Harbor Freight Tools? I haven't tried one yet, but will tonight. Thhey are handy little tools to have around when you need to pry on something you don't want to scratch or mar.
