Restorer of SHO
-Without much fanfare, offering up my daughters former Silver G3. Car has 117k miles. Has new headlight housings, new shift cable, & fresh tranny. The following we have replaced over the past few years that she's owned it......
-lh axle
-altenator
-brakes, all 4 corners
-swaybar links
-rear calipers
-coil packs
-belt
-shift interlock switch
-battery
-tires
Pretty much has been trouble free as most of the above is maintenance items. never any major problems until the tranny. We didnt have the time to wait for the tranny to be diag/fixed as she was in need of a car to drive back and forth to college everyday, so she needed something fast, and she didnt like my trucks(manual) and the Tbird wasnt big enough to haul her friends around(2 door). We have had it for about 5 years. it had 82k on it when we got it, i think. Cams were welded when we got it. Was checked and verified by FPS. still have most all of the receipts to go with car incase needed/wanted. Battery is a Duralast. a new front to rear brake line assy was put on it while it was still availiable. car has tinted windows. Tires are Kuhmo KR 16s and they still have about 7/32 tread on them. has the all red '98/'99 taillights. P.O. had 40 series Flowmasters installed, and they give it a great sound. runs/drives great and is a perfect G3 to own. There are 2 minor tears in the drivers seat, and i already have a person scheduled to fix them. Also the rh mirror housing has a crack in it, but it was there when we purchased it, and has not been a problem. Console is not installed in pics, as while it was out to install the new shift cable and i sent the car to the cleanup shop and had the carpet/seats cleaned. it will be re-installed for purchase. has 6 disc CD changer in the trunk. also has sunroof wind deflector. I can also get any other pics you need, as the sun was very bright when i took these, and it and the shadows played havoc on the pics. Really as i said, other than the tranny fail, it has been a great car, and is so again, but now we no longer need it as it will be 3 more years till my next daughter is old enough to drive.
