Hello All,
Looking for suggestions on paint to refresh the side view mirrors on my 94 ATX; the driver's side is the worst (see pic), but going to do both sides.

Possibly someone like Eastwood or similar has a product to do just this?
Anyone had good results with a commercially available product?

Thanks in advance. :)

I just used glossy rattle can paint, probably Rustoleum Pro. Prep by sanding down all the rock chips (might be easier to sand on-car), remove mirror assembly and remove the innards. Hang with wire from bottom screw holes. Spray multiple layers so you can color sand. Buff and wax after a month. Shiny.

I used the same 3” pad on a drill I use for fixing fogged headlights. Mother’s Aluminum and Mag wheel Polish does pretty good.

Even if you sand between coats of paint, new paint will always have some degree of orange peel and waviness to it, and fast-drying spray may have that overspray speckled look. You sand out the high spots with a block and high-grit finishing paper (2000 thru 3000), and then buff out the sanding scratches by machine for a mirror finish.

(White single stage (no clearcoat) oxford white is also receptive to this treatment...)
