should I be concerned?

It would appear that by removing the saxocone, i've potentially saved my engine. I popped the hood this evening after arriving home to make sure that the steam I was seeing was from snow hitting the exhaust and other parts of the engine (we've got about 7 inches and it's still coming down like it means it), and I noticed that the hole where the saxocone would mount is literally filled with snow. I mean packed.

That can't be good, can it?

There was also a decent amount of snow in various places around the engine bay, including encrusting the MAF. On the plus side, the runners were nice'n cool.

Should I be addressing this issue, or just leave it the **** alone and enjoy the winter weather?

Hood's all the way down and latched tightly. As stated...snow's gettin kinda deep here, and I don't really baby it through the drifts, as it tends to handle snow quite nicely. This car's seemingly unstoppable in this deep white stuff.

SHO is a great car to drive in the snow.

Don't know about having that much snow packed in there though... Just don't let it get sucked into the engine I guess...
