worst case scenario I'll bring a few extra water pump belts.... and swap the power steering pump/rack kelvin gave me...... I woulda done that by now but I was waiting to do it with the whole engine assembly out... easy work FTW

and run the slow as ballz 3.0... be cool to have a baseline atleast... see what it ran before and after engine swap

badass on the wheel/brake upgrade

you know your gonna have to give me a braking demonstration or let me try em out myself when you get this done......

I H A T E these stock 93 brakes............

I just want to see the difference between the 13" cobra's and the gen 3 SHO brakes.... I wonder if its really worth having to upgrade the wheels

im sure they'll be a bit better than the gen3 upgrade.
however with how much the mach1/Cobra calipers sell for now i dont know if ti would be worth it.
i got them back when they were about half what they are now.

Line it up as a 3.0.

Just like there is a big difference between the 89-93 and 96 brakes, there is a big difference between the 96 and 13" Cobras. But like Brian said, they are mucho expensive now, so its not as worth it as it used to be, IMO.

WTF is up with that?
even the re-man ones from autozone are $100 a piece with a $65 core
when i bought mine its was like $180 shipped for 2 brand new Ford ones.

yeah that was the caliper backets/pads and all

now I've seen that setup for almost 500...............

what the **** happened... maybe supply dwindled up

Brian I'd try a spare MAF if u can find one for the **** of it... I just think it might be a vacuum issue because awhile ago I remeber u having problems with the a/c vents

u need a vacuum gauge, and just start checking all the vacuum lines... hopefully you'll find one that is different then the other lines........

I'd bet 20 bucks its one of those two things...

I did, but its been sitting outside for a couple months now, so I don't know if you want it.

I don't know why the Cobra calipers went up so much, but it sucks.

its probably not nessecarily an intake manifold problem, it could be a vacuum line anywhere on the car....

so keep your eyes and ears open.......

let me see if my local buddy has the spare MAF off his parts car, its an automatic but its all the same isn't it?

It is the same MAF. I had spares but I think I threw them out months ago because they were in my way.

Necro posting!
Its been like two years since I updated this post so I thought now would be a good time.
I got the car running very well and its been rock solid since.
posted some quick drag time for an N/A SHO.
Added my Cobra brakes,TD wheels,Jose SHOrt shifter,custom built a 3" exhaust.
Tons of body work and primer and a Im sure there is some other stuff I can't remember.
Ive since started my turbo project after about a year of collecting parts.
