Well heres the story, I woke up for work on Wednesday morning at 2 am. for work. I received a phone call on my prepaid phone that said private caller. I answered and it was the local police. SO they asked my name and then said something I will never forget, " Hello Mr. Johnson this is the Westerly police and we would like to know if your car has been stolen". I said, barely awake, I hope not. I ran to the font room and looked out the window and all I saw was broken glass on the road. NIce, they caught the kid two streets over fleeing from the police not able to handle the power and Jose's short shifter. He ditched the car and ran into the park got tackled and thrown in jail. I got to the station and made a statement, turns out the kid was 21 and drunk. Saw my car on the street and decided to look for money, instead he found my spare set in the glove box. I looked at the car and saw that there was only a large scrape and small dent over the drivers side rear wheel, then I noticed that the rims on that side had been scraped up to **** and I mean bad. I was ****** so I was ready to drive it from the impound when I noticed something didn't look right. WELL THE PASSENGERS SIDE TIRE WAS TURNED OUTWARD, NO BIG DEAL. BUT THE DRIVERS SIDE FRONT WAS PERFECTLY STRAIGHT. NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE TIRE WAS SITTING ABOUT 2 OR 3 INCHES OUTSIDE THE FENDER AND IT WAS ON AN ANGLE. THE TOP OF THE TIRE WAS HANGING OVER THE BOTTOM. My insurance comapany said they might have to tatol it, I said what is total they said 2600. I said I have far too much invested to total it.
Here I sit wating for the adjuster. Please feel free to let me know what would cause the drivers side tire to do this . And how much to fix something like this. Thanks!!!

Buy it back from the insurance co. and fix it. You should be able to get them to just deduct the scrap value from the check.
