You can purchase them right now. They are made to order. There is no group buy for them. They are a bolt in application.

No one that we are aware of as these seem like a new application.

These struts are designed specifically for lowering springs. They will be a bit stiffer, a good compromise between track and street.

I've been checking around online about Selex struts. Seems like alot of the import crowd around Quebec enjoy them. Also they sponsored the Canadian drift champ and he had them on his car. They seem to be popular in S. America and Europe for BMW's and the asian import cars.

The only complaint i have seen is that the yellow struts are too hard and they dont like using them for road use. So they go with the blue struts and like those.

The ones for the SHO are the mid range between blue and yellow. So i dunno. on the quality side i havent seen anything bad, just harshness of ride. But with something thats 80% stiffer........well of course its going to be harsh lol. I've never driven anything lowered or what not so driving a vehicle with 60% stiffness is a shot in the dark for me.

You should pick up the Selex and tell me how they are lol

I am trying to do my suspension asap and am starting to think maybe i should risk it and get selex's. I dont know what the cost would be from my guy. Hopefully alot cheaper then the ones being sold on SHOsource. 1,091 USD + shipping isnt very appealing. Especially since it would be 80/an hour labour rate to put them in PLUS buying eibachs for 400ish at a 70 an hour labor rate.

Josh at SHO Nut has the Eibachs for $250, and a set of four Konis for $690. I'm sure that he can assemble a set of struts/springs for a reasonable rate. Then about any shop can install them if you don't wish to do so.

Well the cost of the USD to Cdn plus shipping usually makes things around the same cost as getting it local. The only thing is that the shipping time would be 2 weeks whereas local they can get the parts from a local supplier in days and get it installed quickly.

Woah! Do they do any mechanical work to the SHO? Or do they only sell parts? I wouldnt mind finding someone who knows how to work on these things. I could get a ford tech from work to do stuff but they probably havent touched one of these in a long time and may need some refreshing. Wouldnt mind having someone around that knows what/how to do things on an SHO

Thanks for pointing that out Ron!

Josh is one of the best sources for SHO stuff. He also does wrenching. You need to get to know him.

Well if you get them cheaper let me know as we are selling these direct from Selex.

FYI Eibachs have been discontinued.

If you get springs and struts plus the hardware to assemble them it's very easy to put them together. Then if your wanting a shop to install them it wouldn't take much time at all. I am thinking maybe 2 hours max to install all 4 if they know what they are doing.

Ya, the shop i went to said it will take approx. 2 hours to do the set-up. I trust their work as these guys bleed Ford blue and are honest people.

I just wanna save as much money on parts as i can. the more money i save, the more i have to invest into other parts, lol

A lot of places list it but do not have it. They drop ship from other places so you would need to make sure they actually have it on hand. Just a warning as this happened with the Intrax springs.

Hmm, interesting. I'll have to make sure the shop knows im in sort of a rush.

I've been trying to find out what an H-Brace does and when using the search function i get arguments about STB vs SFC or just random threads about mods to suspension and it includes an h brace but its never stated what it is/does or how to install.

Anyone care to slap the ignornace out of me with a simple explanation?

What if it's a rusty piece of crap like mine and you break strut pinch bolts and then spend an hour drilling each of them out (and break countless drill bits)?

Ian thats where the hot wrench works. If I had one I wouldn't even try to remove them with out having the threaded area glowing red. I did this once and worked like a dream. Just make sure the struts are toast as they will be after they see that much heat for sure.
