Hey, you're in Westland, maybe I'll see you around.

Currently I'm driving a 95 Green ATX, but that may be changing soon.

How do you know you need Rod bearings? Just doing it because the cars got a lot of miles, or can you hear them? If you can hear them, then it might be a little too late to just replace them.

Do a search for rod bearings, you'll see some horror stories. I've never tackled the bearings before, so I don't know if i can be of much help. Someone who has can probably give you detailed directions on what is involved.

I'm not completely useless though, if you ever decide to tackle anything yourself, I got no problem lending a hand.

I used to live in Westland, you've probably seen my Sable roll around town. I used to live off of Ford and Wayne.

Anyhow, Im back in Cali and am no use to you out here, or else I woulda done em.

I live up in Warren area......I would be glad to help out.....as time permits. I have not done much engine work on mine cuz it runs fine. Just a blown transmission. For the amount of work you need to put in.....it would seem cheaper and more time saving to just buy a new motor .....forfit the core deposit and rebuild the current engine to your specs and happyness.
I would be glad to lend a hand and all. I am not a mechanic though.
I just buy cars with problems and I don't make enough to hire shops....so I find myself working in the cold fixing it.
