SHO help

heres the down low on my sho. the car has 171k on it. its had regular unleaded put through it its entire life, and oil changes every 3500 to 4500mi. other than a head gasket the engine has never been touched. it has had new plug wires, water pump, trans fluid, and other odds and ends though; still needs new 02 sensors i think. also there is a strange humming sound that comes from the car when it is idleing. anyone have any idea as to what this might be.

Well.
Can you pinpoint where it's coming from? I.E. front passenger side?

It could be a lot of things. You need to be as specific about the condition as possible. If you can post a sound clip of the noise that would be even better.

power steering pump,water pump, poss fuel pump...

its definately coming from the passenger side front. a new water pump was just put on about 4 months ago and the fuel pump seems fine. my money is the timing tensioner.
