First off, welcome aboard. Glad to see another SHO owner here.

Now down to the problem. You really need to be a bit more specific. The causes of no heat can be many different problems from low radiator fluid to a bad thermostat to problems with the ECC. Do you notice that you're loosing fluid from anywhere? If so you need to get that fixed promptly. Not only does it cause problems for your car, but it's hazardous to animals as antifreeze smells and tastes sweet to them but is very apt to cause death if swallowed.

First check your radiator for fluid, then check for any obvious leaks. From there you may want to have your t-stat checked. If you take it to a shop make sure you ask to see the old t-stat or have it returned to you.

A good source of info can be found at www.shotimes.com. Hope this helps out some.

What year SHO?? Is the engine getting up to proper temperature? In 89 thru 95 SHOs there is always hot coolant going thru the heater core. The blend door in the air plenum is what determines if hot or cold air is directed out the vents.

I agree with "PJToledo". Provided everything under the hood is working like it should. My SHO had only cold air once and it turned out to be electric blend door motor behind the dash was only running in one direction. The fix/replacement of this motor requires pulling of entire dash assembly away from the windshield area to gain access to the motor. There is a self test mode contained in the a/c control head.Procedure is as follows: step #1 Ensure engine is at operating temp. step#2 with enging not running but ignition key in the "on position push OFF & FLOOR buttons simultaneously then within two seconds push AUTOMATIC. The test may run as long as 20 seconds during which time the display will be blank. A code number will appear when test is complete if it detects a problem. they are as follows: 01 = replace control head unit. 02 = blend door problem. 03 = in-vehicle temp sensor is problem. 04 = ambient temp sensor is problem. 05 = sunload sensor is problem. 888 = test complete no problems found. Now you must exit self test mode by pushing "blue" button before turning off the key. Give the test a try and see what you get.

From experience, I can tell you that the thermostat is probably the last thing to check. While it may be bad, there will still be some heat coming from the heater core. The problem most likely lies under the dash with the blend door, as Mr. Xc said. There is also some vacuum control; its possible there is a vac. leak.
