well yesterday i put in a set of reinforced motor mounts and today i got into the car and it was 42 degrees out. when i went to pull out the car wanted to stall, had a small hickup at idle bouncing between 800 and 900. every time i would give it throttle it would want to stall....after slowly getting the rpms up enough to pull out the car ran fine like a bat out of ****. yesterday i filled the coolent up with about 90% water since im broke and had no antifreez although i dont think its related. here in a couple hours i will be able to drive the car again to see if it acts up but this is the first time this has happened.

did you have the battery disconnected when you changed the mounts? If so, did you do the idle reset after you reconnected the battery? If not, all manner of quirky idle issues can result.

Disconnect negative battery cable for several minutes. Reconnect. Start car, turn on all accessories (a/c, radio, lights, etc.) and let it idle while not touching the gas pedal for at least 5 minutes. Then, turn it off. Restart and drive normally.
