Hi. My 90 SHO has a shifter cable. The problem is that the thingy that holds the socket/cup to the ball has gone. I have held it together temporarily with wire.

Can anyone please tell me if it that linkeage is a seperate part I can buy or do I have to get a whole new shifter cable?

Thanks a lot and seasons greetings!

Go to www.shoclub.com and click "members only"(don't have to be member to do so) and then go down to the 16th article about it and click on it and it will explain and tell you the part # from Mopar thats an option, because Ford doesn't make the part no more, they just want you to buy the whole thing cable and all.
