Hey, guys, I'm going to make up a short shifter for the MTX '97. I was planning on using a two piece clamp-on collar from McMaster to replace the stop you have to grind off, but I don't know what diameter to get, and I don't have any drill bits larger than 1/2", and I don't want to buy them if I don't have to. Does anyone know what the larger diameter on the shift lever is?
Edit: Forgot to add that I'm in NH visiting my dad, and the car is in TN, so I can't measure. I just want to order the parts so they're there when I get back.
