So my clutch has about 9000 miles on it (was installed by a shop since my old SPEC clutch was a POS and I didnt have time to put a new one in since I was away at school) SO ANYWAY

All of a sudden, this driveline shake appears the other day, its really bad, not chatter, !SHAKE! I am really confused what to do, since i know the PP bolts were loctited I have a Urethane MM (from NWSHOParts), and i just replaced my rear motor mount a few months ago with a decent used one.

My first thought was the PP bolts, but i have NO shifting problems, or slippage at higher RPM, so that pretty much rules that out. Second I think it might be that rear used motor mount, however when the first one went bad, i had some shifting problems... and the car shifts perfectly normal as of now.

So anyway, can anyone tell me what the check is for a bad motor mount? its something like setting the e-brake and going in reverse to test the front mount, and forward for the rear? (or the other way) I searched and found tons of things, and some were conflicting, so I'm asking for someone that knows 100% and can tell me.

also any other ideas are appreciated.

Hood up + reverse + parking brake + loading the engine = rear motor mount test.

If it's bad (and it sounds like it is) the rear of the engine will lift up considerably when you load the engine by releasing the clutch slightly.

My car does this too if I don't get off the clutch with the gas too high, the car shakes to death, but if i put it in reverse and barely gas it or actually get into gear and let the clutch out then it goes fine.
