I recently had to remove cams and valve lashes from one the rear head. How can I reassemble them so they in the proper position in their rotation. I took pictures prior to disassembly to use for this but how can I be sure that the timing will be correct?
TIA

turn the engine to top dead center by placing a very long 3/8 extention where the spark plug goes on the cylinder next to the glove box. turn the engine back and forth untill you get the extention as high as you can. the dots on the cam sprokets should then be facing up and 12 o'clock.

You really need to have a service manual for this job. This is not something you want to do from the seat of your pants.
