Today we put in a new can that doesn't rattle. And my secondaries now work properly! The difference is amazing, around 4k rpms, the sound COMPLETELY changes, and there's quite the nice boost of power.
Moral of the story: if your secondaries can rattles, replace it, and you won't regret it.
