Well the seats in my car are complete shit and I'm going to get new ones for X-mas. Are there any other seats that fit up to our cars? I was looking at these and thought they looked pretty good, they are not very high priced either.

If you like the look of the 3rd gen SHO seats, they will bolt up. The passenger seat doesn't have power, so if you previously had a power passenger's seat you'll be missing out.

Many racing seats don't come with seat rails - it's up to you to adapt them to your rails or fabricate your own rails of some sorts. You have to be careful since many of them were designed for harnesses, and will not allow a lap and shoulder 3 point belt to lay properly. This could be very unsafe.

If you like the factory seats, they can be recovered in real or imitation leather (or vinyl or cloth..) for not much money at all really.

Well I was planning on getting the brackets to adapt to the factory mounts. Also, I was going to eventually get the 5 point harness that fits up to the seat. I've never seen Gen III seats, can someone post a picture of one please.

Cobra(seats that is) makes rails and all for the Taurus, or at least they used to back when I was going to build a Silver State car. I needed a comfy seat for an hour at highspeed, I just didn't look forward to that time spent bouncing on alum or steel seats with little pad

599 for the "sidewinder" street/track seats and I think 14 for the rail if memory serves. I'll look around for the addie of the site.

This is not true. Both of my seats are powered. No lumbar on the passenger side tho

I stand (or sit?) corrected. I was told by a gent who put the genIII seats in his genII that they didn't have a power passenger's seat.

Bully then. They should bolt right up.

Recaro makes some "Style" seats that are powered, heated and cooled and hold my butt in the seat when I am haulin. They are a direct fit in the Gen 2 atx.

Someone on here with a silver Gen II has some sweet looking custom upholstered seats. Granted, they're just stock gen II seats but they look awesome. I'd like to know who made them and how much they cost.

Actually those are seat covers made by Wet Okole. I think he(SHOTX) said they were $250 with SHO embroidered on them. Those things look bad ass!!

I have the wet okole seat covers with sho on the front. They fit very nicely and are the best besides reupholstery. They were around 220 for the front and 200 for the rear. I only have pics of the front on my site if you want a pic.

So, it would appear Gen 2 and Gen 3 fronts may bolt-in to Gen 1. Does anyone know whether or not any recent vintage Mustang front buckets might bolt-in?

BTW, Those Wet-Okole covers look super-nice CMurderSHO...how do they feel and wear in day-to-day use?
