Can I replace my half power passenger seat with a full power pass seat. Any differences I should know about? Would it be possible to make the pass seat power work with the correct motors or is it not prewired?

Didn't know there were full powered seats available in gen II SHO's.

Yup , my guess is that it was optional.

If you have the full rails with the motors , I think it would be do-able , Im just unsure if the plug is hidden in the mat. All you really need is 12V+ and ground.

It will bolt right in, the power connector is there anyway for the lumbar and bolster pumps - the connector is the same even though the wiring in the seat base is different.

One difference you may want to be aware of is how much heavier the power seat is. I replaced my power passenger seat with a manual one. I think that the difference is ~ 30 lbs IIRC.

Its an atx DD that doesnt see strip time so I would gladly take the extra 30lbs over the nasty stain thats there now.

I should be all set on the lumbar and bolsters as I have them now, so I should just have to run 12+ and ground to the rest of the motors and it should work right? Ill probly have to find some connectors to plug in so I can splice them in.

Gas mileage! Lighter is better! :)

I think that I replaced mine because the motor had gone bad anyway. I'm still using the plastics from the powered seat but the controls for the motor obviously are not hooked up. Actually now that I think about it, the original passenger seat was non power (grey) but when I switched to the black interior the motor on the black seat was bad. I just swapped the seat tracks and have been happy with it.
