I thought the V6 used an EEC IV scanner. That is what I have and my 90 has the same exact computer connection.

Why do you want one? You can check your codes using a paper clip.

I think I paid either $40 or $60 for mine at Autozone. Has a nice LCD display, easy to use, good documentation.

IIRC I only paid about $100 for my OBD-II scanner, so I can't imagine somebody charging anywhere near $200 for an OBD-I tool.

If all you want is a "code reader" you should be able to one for about $100 or less. As stated above you can check the codes with a paper clip.

If you want to be able to watch the sensors working in real time it will be much more expensive. Check out www.autoxray.com. They may have something in your price range that will suit your purposes.
