same engine?

I am curious, and really don't know
but does the police Taurus and the SHO Taurus have the same engine?

Not all interceptors are an Ecoboost. Years ago I asked to see under the hood of an Officer’s Taurus and it was naturally aspirated. But I believe it’s a 3.7 and not a civilian 3.5 NA. A lot of them are the same engine as the SHO though. Best to just pull over lol.

Starting 2013 police cars were also offered in a 240-hp turbocharged EcoBoost 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine

This was in the Special Service Police model. It was not pursuit rated. It was designed more as an undercover/admin car. It was also FWD only.
