Sach's Struts?

Are Sach's struts a performance strut? Or are they just a replacement like Gabriel? I have a set on one of the SHO's that's up for sale, and I think this thing will out handle my others. Are they comparable to any of our performance struts like Konis? Thanks for your time.

There have been numerous rumors that the stock SHO struts were manufactured by Sachs. I don't recall if anyone ever actually proved or verified that, but if you run a search I seem to recall a few people getting them and agreeing that they were on par with stock struts.

Anybody used the sach's struts??? I've been asking/reading around and as far as lower priced struts,almost everthing I've read said No Monroes,Gabriels, or KYB with Eibach's or Intrax, the reason being the springs are a progressive rate, if you cant go Tokico's or Konis go with Mcpearson' or Sachs ????

Getting ready to buy the struts and springs (Eibachs) just dont want to be replacing struts every 6 months to a year even if they have a liftime warr.

The name has popped up quite a bit ,ive also seen om list of struts not to install on the sho,i think SHOSHOP list,not sure.

My bud used to run Sachs shocks on his lowered VW...they were nice, I'm actually looking at the sachs super gas struts. And from what I hear, they are the OEM SHO struts (at least for the genIII's)
