I suck at metal work but i'm good mechanic...i need help big time..anyone else ever have this happen to them??...any help is appresiated

what year is your car? this was a recall from Ford for Gen 2 sho's. I dont know if Ford will fix it now though, I would check and see if the recall was ever done on your car.

That is for the bushing bolts, not the subframe itself. It also covers Gen I and Gen II.

I would personally not just fix the area, but put a plate on the entire section, this is a huge safety issue. If you can, take some pics,i`ve never heard of this problem before, but it is very serious.

Was this on the actual subframe itself or the mounting point above on the body structure? Is your car a mtx or atx? Where in Mi are you? If you have a atx and are close to troy and it's the actual subframe, I have one in my garage that you can have! If not, you can either try bone yard for one or do the welding thing. If you need my frame, hit up my link for my email. Good Luck.
