I changed the plugs and wires (yes they are routed correctly), tried another TPS, tried another known good MAF, even cleaned it with MAF cleaner, reset the idle, checked the timing belt and it's tight, so I highly doubt it skipped a tooth. There is an occasion backfire through the intake when you hit the go pedal in park. Help, I have hardly any hair left! It sounds exhaust related, but I went down to the muffler shop today and he said my cats are fine (just shined a light in there, and the white stuff in there is still bright white...if that's how you check the cats). I'm at my wits end here. Anyone know anything else that might cause this?

Coil, DIS?

That's my next plan of attack. I ran codes again, and then did the cylinder balance test yet again. It gave me a misfire on cylinder 2. Checked the plug, fine, and then checked the wire with an ohm meter, good. Is there a way to test the coil?
