I have a 1993 ATX with 96 brake upgrade. Just put new Brembos up front and seems like they warped already. I unfortunatley let the car sit for months without driving her. Will the frnt rotors warp just from sitting too long? What part numbers for the frnt Rotors and brake pads? Are they the same for 1996,1997,1998, or are there different part numbers? Any help would be apprecatated can't stand the shudder.

They shouldnt warp, did you buy them new or used? You may need to clean the built up stuff on it. Also how was your wheel trqed down? Something as improperly torqing down the wheels can cause warped rotors.

Did you break in the pads and rotors? It's always a good idea especially when using big$$$ parts.

Are you sure it's a brake problem and not an alignment or wheel/tire balance problem?

One thing that can happen with cars that sit a long time is the pads imprint on the rotor surface. This is the same thing as "warping" which is just an uneven distribution of pad material across the rotor surface.
Sometimes if you drive it nicely for a while this will get better, but you can always fix it with new rotors or by getting the rotors turned.

my tires have worn in a way that is feels like i have warped rotors... just to check i took the tires off and rolled them on smooth pavement and they couldnt even roll straight or roll at all they just wobbled and fell over.....my dash shakes so bad at 75 it is scary .....ehhh they are baddd
