rod shifter

I bought a 91 sho+ Friday and today I lifted it up at work and I seen that it was cable shifted. I thought sho + 's were rod shifted???
the build date is 05/91. its got glass hood and rear wing amber turn signals in rear, blacked mirrors, side molding same as car color also white rims.
ya it's white too.
Any thoughts would be apprecated

my plus is cable shifted. I believe it has the same build date. It has the plastic hood, spoiler, window chrome, etc. I might be wrong, but I think they went with the rod shifter towards the end of 91.

oh i see they didn't start untill some time after 05/91.

The Plusses are a rare kind of SHO. (And since SHOs are rare anyways- :evil_gri: )

My 5/91 has rod shifter and ALL of the other plusses. But I've read about lots that had pieces different here and there- mostly the hood, spoiler, and shifter.

PS- The Plus is the best. They have all the good looks of the ORIGINAL SHO, and a little extra.
