Long story short, smashed my right side a bit. Gonna need two rear arms, the knuckle, inner and outter tierod, two rims etc, only thing is this . I believe I have access to a tig, at a glance, goes this look like I can weld, drill, and retap? Car is currently on my uncles flat bed. Thank you for your input.
I hope you can see what's going on here, picture is sideways.

I havent found any area on the rod shifters that can not be repaired pretty easily...I have mine torn apart as far down as it can go to every piece before assembly and the whole assembly is as basic as they come...dont be scared to cut and weld.

Thanks for replying, the break is on the actual transmission , where the support rod bolts in, you can see the threads. I was hoping , even though it is aluminum, to weld, drill and tap the missing section. . I tried to upload a picture with it zoomed in a little.

Someone suggested JB weld, I don't trust it with how I drive though.

Once again, thanks shobros lol. Seriously, hope your days has been good.

I just found the thread with the brace kit, sadly it looks like he hasn't been on since 2015.

I made a brace similar to the one Jose had for one of the SHOs that I had with a similar broken mounting location. It worked fine, and was not that hard to do.

Thanks to everyone again for replying . I have faith once again LaLa will be just fine . I'm going to look over it this weekend hopefully with my uncle and see what's actually going to be needed.
Together, all the ideas and tools, I know we can do something now. I will do my best to post update pictures, for anyone interested in how it all goes.

yeah, now that i see the pics the right way to fix it would be to have the transmission boss welded up, redrill, tap for helicoil and install a helicoil insert...I dont think I have ever seen the brace that everyone is talking about but if many have fixed this issue with a brace then that seems to be the way to go....good luck!

Thank you! I feel so much better, my uncle said it should be relatively easy to fab up. God I miss her, I'm happy to see so many other people love and appreciate the SHO .

I was wondering how the **** this happened, turns out it is not so uncommon. . And somewhat unrelated to my sho meeting the guardrail.. lol side note, luckily I got stuck in gear and could drive ...er limp up the road.

Thank you, haven't had time to get her on lift and make a list still. I was looking at a white one, needs work. I don't think it is feasible for me now.
In the market for a cheap realible daily.
Found a 99 accord for 2k obo, 5 speed, leather, looks clean. We'll see..

I'll get my baby ******* the road, then I can save up.. I've maintained contact with the gentleman selling the white one. Maybe one day.. I really wanted the wheels..

99 solara 5 speed . Clean af
