ring style bushing ??

ok i have ring style sfb's and i was wondering if i fill the gap in with a washer that is the same diameter as the space will it be better then nothing?? my bushings are flush not raised like others
or even a pic of parts used

I don't think the washer has to even fill in the entire space. I put some thick washers in mine to take up the gap. With the subframe hanging enough that you can put the bushings in it's pretty evident that a normal thick washer fills the gap nicely.

Is there still a thing going on about ring style bushing? I have had mine in for more than a year with no problems.

oh i am just asking bout it as my 93 ATX is a pretty good car and the bushings have had little problems over the years. As for installing them i can remove the frame i have a hoist at work to do it on.
